Complete Wood Burner Installation in Beckenham

CASA manages each stage of a wood burner installation in Beckenham. This provides one clear process from the initial fireplace work to the completed stove fitting.

Fireplace Preparation

Some installations begin with an existing open fire or decorative fireplace. Our installers can remove the old surround and expose the original chamber.

We then open and square the fireplace to create suitable space around the new stove. Where required, we fit a lintel to support the masonry above the opening.

Chimney and Flue Lining

A suitable flue system allows combustion gases to travel safely through the chimney. We can install a flexible flue liner and connect it to the stove’s internal flue pipe.

Some properties require scaffold access for work at chimney level. This allows our team to fit the liner, chimney pot components and pot-hanging cowl safely.

Hearths, Chambers and Mantels

The hearth protects the area beneath and in front of the stove. It also plays an important part in the finished fireplace design.

CASA can install slate, stone or tiled hearths to suit the room. We can also render the chamber and fit slips, headers or a new mantel.

These finishing details help the stove become a natural feature within the property.

Log Burner Installation for Beckenham Homes

Homes in and around Beckenham contain many different fireplace and chimney arrangements. Some retain their original fireplace openings, while others have undergone previous alterations.

Our installers assess the existing fireplace before deciding how to prepare it. We aim to retain suitable features while creating a safe and balanced installation.

Whether you prefer a traditional fireplace or a cleaner contemporary design, CASA can help you plan the complete finish.

Existing Fireplaces and Chimneys

An older fireplace may hide a larger chamber behind the surround or previous infill. Opening this area can provide the space needed for a freestanding stove.

The chimney may also need cleaning, lining or further preparation. We will explain the required work before completing the stove installation.

If a property does not have a suitable traditional chimney, contact us to discuss the available options.
